Ok first of all, thank you for the Wealthfront rec + link! Definitely have a tab open to check that out.
There's something about the timing of this $ theme (and your evolving feelings around it) that feels so interesting, and also somehow right? I feel like I could sing from the rooftops about how much YNAB has supported me/transformed my whole life in this area. I've also *absolutely* been eyeballing that workshop with @nicantoinette . . .
Oooh yes! Happy to answer any follow-up questions you might have about Wealthfront—just let me know. And I know, it's feeling important and timely for reasons I cannot yet name? And my god, YNAB is truly such a game changer! Pay day is my favorite because it means I get to play in YNAB 🤓😅 Big h/t to you for sharing the enough workshop with me in the first place!
And of course I finally just open my HYSA this morning only to see your post here tonight with a 1% higher APY 🫠And now I'm positive I'm an old boring adult haha
But a financially literate old boring adult :D These APY rates do fluctuate over time! The important thing is that you have one. But you can always switch—I just looked and couldn't believe that my old savings account currently has a .3% APY! Like that's almost embarrassing.
Thanks so much for the lovely shout out! I feel truly delighted that you connected with the language on my workshop sales page — I devoted so much time & care to shaping this offering 💜
Also: can confirm that that millionaire shortbread recipe is SO GOOD
Also also: I have read every one of the books in your photo so clearly we like the same things lol
As a long-time reader of yours, I am truly delighted to see your comment, Nic! Thank you for taking the time. Hahaha I'm not surprised that our book stacks are aligned AND that you've also had those shortbread cookies already. Clearly I need to make a batch this weekend!
I know you've got the topic of "enough" on the brain with your upcoming workshop—what, if any, other financial themes are you personally sitting with these days?
It's like you read my mind with this month's theme! I'm really trying to learn more about investing (currently reading Girls That Invest). Also YNAB has been one of my favorite discoveries this year.
Catherine! How wonderful to hear from you. I'm getting the sense that we're not alone in focusing our attentions on money this month! I'll definitely have to check out Girls That Invest. It's almost as though the system was designed to make it hard for certain people to partake...🤔 What are you up to these days? I'd love to connect and catch up!

Anti-capitalism & the solidarity economy for sure — although of course those are related to enoughness!
